La cala resort unveils latest leisure facility
The award-winning Spanish resort adds new padel courts to strengthen their extensive sports facilities
At an inauguration on the 12th May, 2023 attended by local media, residents and friends of La Cala Resort, representatives from the Mijas council officially cut the ribbon to mark the opening of three padel courts – the latest leisure facility at La Cala Resort.
With multiple existing facilities already available on-site, the leading 4-star golf resort in Spain has installed three state-of-the-art padel courts which are now open and available for use. It marks the completion of another phase of renovation works which have taken place at the resort. These have included extensive upgrades to the interior and exterior of the Resort’s Clubhouse.
Located next to the Hotel and Clubhouse at the heart of the resort, the three padel courts feature a panoramic design providing 360-degree views of the outstanding La Cala scenery.
Available for booking from 8:00am to the last booking slot at 9:00pm, the La Cala padel courts will be open every day. They are available for all La Cala guests, residents and locals living in the Costa del Sol area. Rates will be from €24.00 per court, for 90-minute slots.

As a brand-new experience for guests, La Cala Resort is now proud to have its very own Racquet Club, offering padel, tennis and squash for anyone to enjoy. Providing a competitive and social experience for all visitors, the La Cala Racquet Club will offer all participants the chance to put their skills to the test in a friendly and active environment.
The efforts to improve and upgrade the facilities at La Cala have resulted in industry recognition and a series of awards.
